CeraVe is a unique brand in the world of skin care. Developed by dermatologists, it’s a science-based line of products. The moisturizers and cleansers contain ceramides, an oil that is found naturally in skin. It helps strengthen and repair the skin’s natural barrier and retain moisture.

 

CeraVe was popular in the U.S. and London Drugs was eager to offer it to our customers. We became the first retailer in Canada to carry CeraVe – but sales really increased once L’Oreal purchased it. Distribution improved and L’Oreal standardized the product to create a more uniform brand presence.

 

They also transformed CeraVe into a masterbrand by expanding into baby items along with a strong regiment of cleansers and moisturizers. As a result there are products for the whole family – and their popular daytime and nighttime moisturizers fly off our shelves.
